Lake Havasu, January 16

All WCVR members have an open invitation to come race the winter series in sunny Arizona with the Can-Am Vintage Sprint Cars. We are racing this year, with limited schedule and limited crowd and no fan fest. Our next race at Speedway 95 Lake Havasu is February 6 and the March date is still pending approval from the City Counsel. We have a few dirt races in the making as well. Come join the fun in the sun!!! January 15 and 16 was perfect race weather and the usual great hospitality of the track staff. Practice on the 14 and 15, with racing the afternoon of the 16th under sunny skies, slight breeze and mid-70s temp. Capacity crowd (as allowed by the city council). Pits were full with 6 classes of cars. One main. 12 cars of the Can-Am Vintage Sprint Cars ran an exciting 25 lap main.
