An Ivory car with gold and black trim. This sprint car was built in 1957 by Grant King. The car is 47 years old and has a GMC 302 cu in six cylinder engine. The car was raced all it’s life on the West Coast and a lot in Victoria, B.C. Canada. In 1997 it was restored by Ron Douglas in Victoria BC. It is driven by Jan Dalby (age 55) who started racing a the age of 7. Jan drove stock cars till the early 70ties and drove NASCAR for over 10 years. He started open wheel racing in 1982. The car is owned by Bob Farwell and based in Salem Oregon. Bob also owns car #7 and owns cars #2 and #57 in partnership with Gary Petersen. Car is sponsored by the Lone Oak Tavern in Salem, Oregon.
