Car #22

This orange midget with white letters was built in 1968 by Edmunds. The car is 36 years old and is powered by a Chevy Sesco 4 cylinder engine. The Sesco was built to compete with the Offenhauser engines that were dominating midget racing. It was built using the right bank of a Chevrolet V8. It was a lot less expensive then an Offy and was competitive with them. This car was raced mostly on the East Coast in New Jersey and was driven by Lew Duncan and Jimmy Kirk along with many others. Harold Braff is the 67 year old owner/driver and has been driving for only 3 years. He bought the car one year ago and is based in Salem Oregon.
