A Cream colored Sprint car built by Howard White in 1960. The 44 year old car has a Chevrolet 350 cu in engine. The car was raced in the Tri-State Racing Association. It ran many local tracks in Northern California and Oregon by Bob Bowers who was a past BCRA Champion. The driver is Dave Imrie of San Francisco, CA age 77. Dave drove Migets in the fifties and Sprints in the fifties and sixties. The owner is Howard White who is home based in Cassel, California.

 

Car #16

This a gold and burgundy Indy car that was built by Rolla Vollstead for the 1965 Indy 500. It is powered by a double overhead cam 255 cu in aluminum Ford. This 39 year old car was first raced by Len Sutton at the 1965 Indy 500 and by Len and Billy Foster on the USAGC circuit that year. In 1966 Cale Yarborough drove it in the Indy 500. In later years it was driven in races by Mario Andretti, Bobby Unser and Tom Sneva. The car is owned and driven by Don Shervey who is 82 years old and keeps the car in Portland Oregon. Don has been road racing sports cars for over 42 years including Ferrari's, Corvettes, sport racers and formula cars with the International Conference of the SCCA.
